Process
From handshake to hinges.
Cabinetry goes wrong in the gaps — between design and shop, between shop and site. 3–5 weeks from signed design to installed, seven steps, and we own every one of them.
- 01
Day 1
Conversation
We walk the space with you — or with your architect — and measure it properly. How you cook, what you store, who else lives here. We tell you honestly what your budget will and won't buy before anyone draws anything.
- 02
3–5 days
Design
Our atelier keeps architects and engineers on staff, so you get full elevations and 3D renderings of every run, down to the shadow gap. You see the door faces, the interior fittings and the lighting before a panel is cut. We revise until it's right.
- 03
included
Selection
Veneer, lacquer, glass, hardware. You hold the actual samples, sprayed on the actual panel — not a printed chip. Lacquer is matched to whatever you put in front of us, including a fabric or a tile.
- 04
2–3 weeks
Production
Cut, edged, veneered and sprayed at our partner atelier — FSC-certified panel, veneer laid up by hand, polyurethane cured in their own booth. Nothing is subcontracted out of that building.
- 05
included
Delivery and storage
Every run is dry-assembled and checked before it leaves the atelier, then crated by elevation. We hold the pieces in our own storage until your site is genuinely ready, so your house isn't a warehouse while you wait.
- 06
2–5 days
Installation
Installed in Florida by our own crew — the same people every time, not a rotating sub. We scribe to the wall, set the reveals, align every gap and clean up behind ourselves.
- 07
Ongoing
After
We come back at ninety days to re-align doors and drawers once the house has settled and the air conditioning has done its work. Construction carries a lifetime warranty; finishes carry five years.
Specification
Standard, not upgraded.
Natural wood veneer
Oak, walnut and freijó laid up by hand and sequence-matched, so the grain runs unbroken across a whole elevation instead of restarting at every door.
Polyurethane lacquer
Sprayed in a downdraft booth, cured, then de-nibbed by hand. Matched to any sample you bring — a fabric, a tile, a paint chip.
FSC-certified panel
Eighteen-millimetre panel on the 32 mm system, edge-banded to match the face. Moisture-resistant grades wherever there's water.
Handleless fronts
A recessed finger profile or push-to-open, so an elevation reads as one surface. Hardware only where hardware earns its place.
Blum and Hettich motion
Full-extension runners and soft-close everywhere, as standard. Servo-driven opening where there is deliberately nothing to pull.
Integrated lighting
Warm LED set into shelf lips, niches and under wall units, wired back to a single driver rather than stuck on afterwards.
Glass and aluminium
Bronze and smoked glass in slim aluminium frames for display fronts and wardrobe doors, plus mirrored panels where a room needs depth.
Upholstered panels
Fabric and leather panels for headboards and feature walls, built into the same run so the reveals line through.
Questions
The ones people actually ask.
- What does custom cabinetry actually cost?
- Most kitchens land between $45,000 and $140,000 for the cabinetry alone, depending on run length, veneer and finish complexity. A single vanity or media wall typically starts around $9,000. We give you a real number after the first site visit — not a range that moves later. (⚠️ Confirm these figures before launch.)
- How long does it take?
- About 3–5 weeks from signed design to installed — design in 3–5 days, production in 2–3 weeks, installation in 2–5 days. We only take on the number of projects our atelier can actually build, so the date we give you is the date.
- What happens if something is damaged before it reaches me?
- Every run is dry-assembled and inspected before it is crated, and crates are packed by elevation so nothing is hunted for on site. We store the pieces here until your site is genuinely ready. If a panel is damaged in transit, we replace it — that risk is ours, not yours.
- Modern or traditional?
- Both, though most of our work is frameless and handleless — slab fronts, continuous veneer, integrated lighting. When a house calls for face-frame cabinetry with inset doors and solid brass, the same atelier builds that too.
- Do you do countertops and flooring too?
- Not yet — and we would rather say so than do it badly. Cabinetry is what we make today. We work alongside stone fabricators and flooring installers we trust, and we coordinate them so the schedule holds. Both are planned.
- Can you work with my architect or designer?
- Most of our work arrives that way. We take your drawings, produce shop drawings against them, and sit in on the coordination meetings. The atelier's own architects answer your architect directly.
